It would be like locking the barn after the horses are gone. I don’t want to make light of the situation down South. It is terrifying to hear what is happening. We are used to and prepared and so are you, Texas and Louisiana certainly aren’t as prepared as we are. I could imagine living through some of the stories I am hearing.

My oldest brother and his wife are in Houston with no power. No heat of any kind. His wife ain't healthy either.

One of the players on our football team lives in Houston during the off season. It started as fun for them, was tweeting working out in the snow as preseason prep. I heard this afternoon their power went out Sunday, they have 3 kids under 7 yrs old. Have been going out and running the car to warm up and try and find a place open with some food.

All jokes aside it is a serious situation and they deserve all the thoughts and prayers we can spare.
