I'm trying to. It's frustrating. Why even put dimensions on the print? I'm going to start using velcro on the studs. Faster to change out the next time.

Im not saying they aren't worth the money. Its just surprising how much they went up since I was into *s-worde back in the day. Ive been out of the off-road and fast car scene for nearly 20 years now. Lots has changed.

Have not built a decent anything in 18 years myself.
Just realized it has been that long since my 84' S-10 SBC 700 backed was on the street. It started out with an old 327 550hp. Within two weeks that camshaft came out. It was brutal... no such thing as to drive it gently, lol. Also pulled out the manual valve body after about a month. Later I settle on a mild 400hp 350 with some decent manners, a vacuum signal and 21mpg 3.73 tall tires and no lockup running on the converter. It was already too fast up on the top end. 140mph with tailgate up ain't joke and still pulling. Everything is a bit much for those trucks in V8 power anyway. Fun... no doubt dragging new Cobra Mustangs down the street or light to light on Rt38. Never took it to Philly. Those days were long over for me by then.
