I very much doubt you're doing too much Tim. All of my grandparents told us grandkids that they wanted to work harder and make sacrifices so their kids and grandkids could have a better life. My dad and his brothers
felt the same way. So far, all us kids/grandkids are doing well, with only two exceptions (cousins of mine).

Kids see that example and it almost always makes a lasting impression.

I thought I was doing right on raising him but as you guys know had some trouble with him leaving home saying he was a slave. We have reconciled and he is working and paying his bills and doing ok.
He informed me a few weeks ago that he is going to be apprenticing under a family friend for the gas company. He could be making 6figures in 5yrs with a company truck. [emoji106]
Regardless of problems I’m still proud of him.
Daughter loves math so she has been accepted at ISU to be CPA.
Proud of both [emoji106]
So I guess we did something right
