the other side did custom mix rubber for companies such as goodyear bridgestone cooper victaulic and others
that was the raw rubber side where the only thing they had to do was finish curing when they extruded it

Cool, tough environment tho ay. I worked retail for Bridgestone Firestone for 14 years before moving to the Refinery. Went on a few factory tours during that period. Don't really miss blowing black rubber snot out of my hooter every night from buffing inner liners and tubes for puncture repairs to be honest.

it took 2 weeks after i got laid off before my pores wasnt pushing black out of my skin
rubber is mostly comprised of carbon black which is a real fine powder
