Nah. We mantenances em.
Bearings/endtrucks arent heavy enough for the duty cycle, and theyre too fast for the loads they carry. Braking causes the crane to "skew", and blows the bearing rollers through the sides of the races.
The one in the pic hadnt failed yet. Changed as a precaution. One we did today had.

I dint get finished til 7 slacker.
That one had a 2500 lb gearbox, motor, and a set of access stairs that had to be moved before I could get to it. Thankfully we had a 22 ton Carrydeck and an op.
Theres plenty of busted greasy pieces in the chuck it bucket. Mebbe I'll get some pics tomorrow.

When you get done with that, come work on mine. Looks like a tornado went through there.
Like that box. Noticed HD had a nice one for a good price. Not much more than I gave for my old Crapsman, and more space. That box fits perfect in my little shop though, so probably not going anywhere anytime soon.
