Well *s-word......just got word that our 6 year old has Celiac Disease. We've been seeing the writing on the walls for some time now, but still tough to process. She's lactose intolerant to boot. This sucks.

Juan, it might seem huge at the moment but it is manageable. When I am looking for a GF treat or something different than the usual I head to the Mexican grocer. Tacos 3 meals a day is an easy solution, the hard part if of you want larger burrito wraps they are hard to find good ones. Lots of 6” corn tortillas or be true to your heritage and make your own.

I’m here is you have any questions, are your or your wife on Facebook? There are usually some local Celiac groups that can help provide suggestions in your local area.

It is easier to find out at 6 than 46 when your body is so used to beer, whiskey and they rest of the better things in life.

Dang @ucm931 hate to hear about your kiddo! Like Gary said hang in there this is very manageable. Aldi has a great gluten free section. Pasta, breads, boxed desert mixes, etc.
