Yep it's pretty tarded how they go about this teaching bs.

Yup.
She's doing fractions. Addition and subtraction.
But, for whatever reason they are required to change the denominator of both fractions...WTF. why???
1/4 + 3/8= they would have to change both fractions to 16ths...

Not much. Going to help the youngest with math homework.
Evidently some *f-wordstick decided to change how math is done.

Yep it's pretty tarded how they go about this teaching bs.

I saw a post on Linkdin today with how the Japanese teach multiplication. Crazy weird how they draw it all out. I will have to look and see if I can find it again and share it.

That makes no sense. LOWEST common denominator.

I’ve seen ‘em fail before as well...hence the jack stand theory...as a backup plan. Damn good friend of mine who was a boiler mechanic, same shop as me, worked in the Boiler Room at a prominent hospital in Macon, Ga. He was *frenching around with a damn CJ-7 Jeep one day in his driveway...floor jack failed, killed him. He was one helluva boiler mechanic, whether fire-tube or water-tube boilers. Murray or PVI boilers...and knew all the logic controls, etc, to run ‘em on gas or diesel. He was damn good with the boilers...30-ton Trane Chillers as well in the Central Energy Plant in the bowels of the hospital.

My point being...make damn sure you’re safe and precautions are taken being underneath a vehicle. Simple to have a backup plan in place. It only takes a few min’s.
I had a buddy doing a rear break job on an old 67 fairlane. On a jack. Legs Indian style with his feet under the drum. Jack failed and there he was, trapped with the car on his ankles till someone came home. His ankles were not broken but black and blue and sore as all fork. His thick leather work boots probably saved them and the short distance it fell. We were in highschool then. I don't trust any fluid jack. Any jack actually.

I didn’t pay much attention to P&R so i just noticed it.
I got in more than I should have. They wanted to ignore questions and discussion and call names. It's how I envisioned facebook being. More than 20 times I called them out for keeping it going only because it kept the site afloat. It was horrible.

@Mastermind At a quick glance, it looks like all the inputs on your Ford go to the ECM from the respective sensors, then than info is sent to the cluster and specific circuits.
You could leave the original ECM and simply adapt the Ford coolant and oil sensors or swap connectors.
The tach and vehicle speed inputs will be trickier as I'd have to figure out the reluctor tooth count, because if they are different, it's going to read differently. The tach on the Ford reads off a crank sensor, the GM in that era will use it off the cam..so, some type of converter box will likely be required.

Thank you sir !!!!

You are the man.

I'm thinking from looking at some Explorer forums that width my be my toughest obstacle. Still studying.....

Fender well headers might help also. Jus say in.
Ordinarily, id be giving *s-worde for taking a GOOD motor out and putting a POS in, but in this case the SBC is better than what you have. Who came up with the idea to put timing chains on the BACK of an engine in a RWD? *pretty boyery there fer sure.
