Feeling pretty good about myself right now. Just installed a new programmable thermostat and it worked. Damn glad I don’t have to wifey whine about being cold anymore.

I had a manually programmable for years. It went toes up last year, so I bought a Honeywell Smart Thermostat. Can be set to run a schedule, and can be remotely operated with the ole smartphone from wherever. Nice when we find out we are gonna be away for a day or so unexpectedly. Can just turn the temp to a more energy bill friendly setting from wherever we are. Need to get one of the smart switches for the water heater too. That saves some coin when you arent gonna be there for a few days. Just turn it off.
