I like the NOPEs that go around and sue places for not being ADA compliant. The money never helps anyone but the lawyers. How the fug is that legal?
All class action lawsuits are money makers for the attorneys. They get the 33% of the entire settlement and the million people involved get a $1.93 each. They feel good for sticking it to the man but it reality they are pawns to make lawyer more money.

Yep.

Agree.

But....I blame the lawyers.

What's 100 lawyers at the bottom of the sea?

A pretty good start.

Our Dodge Journey was using about that much oil. We were running Mobil One. I switched to Castrol GTX and it quit using oil.

Dads s x s utv uses oil running synthetic but does not using 10/40 regular oil

What’s the difference between a dead dog on the hiway and a dead lawyer

There’s skid marks before the dog [emoji23][emoji23]

There are class action lawsuits on everything these days. Maybe I'm wrong and they fail everywhere other than central Wisconsin. I can only speak on what I see each day. I've been at this shop since September of 1997.

The LML payed 30 hours last one I did to do head gaskets. That was removing the engine.
They have since revamped the warranty time to 20 hours and thats doing it in the truck.
I can do them in roughly 19-20 hours, so not much extra $$ made on my part there.

Now these oil burning 2.4's in Terrains and the equinox pay 13 hours to do pistons in them. Those I can make some money on.

exactly whats wrong in this country

too many sue happy cocksucks wanting something for nothing
i can understand if there is a problem but usually its just hyped up *B-S....
Both good points gents. Ed, you're in the trenches at a shop and would have a hell of a lot more direct knowledge than me on the subject. Any information I have on the subject is heresay, chatting with a couple guys on other forums claiming that they themselves went through it, reading other stuff......hell I don't know, maybe it was just a batch of them that weren't made right and the problem was limited.
Anywho, I've *b-worded about how sue happy people are in this country as well. It's fecking rediculous. It's one thing when a company royally drops the ball and their customers suffer for it or a company knowingly screws people over. But NOOOOO.....lawyers will chase ambulances, then dig and dig and dig to find a loophole to get around an idiot's personal responsibility, get paid, and don't give a crap if they take down a good company and destroy those jobs. The Blitz gas can company is a good example.

The *f-wordk kinda job you got...what the hell’s all that?

That is Canabis legal style. Them stores are real fancy up here. There is about $250 000 worth of lighting in that store and I’m being asked to source replacement for the little black pendants as they keep failing.
