Captain Morgan. My girlfriend likes it too.

Pics of her doing the Captain... too soon, meh...

They don’t trust 15 year olds with heavy machinery. Somehow they can trust us with chainsaws though
That's BS.
My oldest daughter could drive at thirteen and was crusing quads and trikes the next year. I ran a wrecker at twelve and did woods recoveries with others. Chainsaw in hand for the nasty bits of broken trees. Fork lifts, trucks, the rollback, ect. We all drove machines at fifteen in out of the shops like D6 dozers, loaders, farm tractors, whatever... at Haines Diesel and Heavy Equipment repair shop on the next road over. Get to it.

It sure is BS. I feel like I’m being raised in the wrong generation

Welded up a brace inside the Buick so I can pull it off the frame and start cutting the inner rockers out. The brace should keep it from twisting like a pretzel once its up off the frame.

Add two vertical supports below the B pillars up to the roof line. Just above the rocker on the door jam where your rear cross tube is. Put a cross bar from the top of one to the bottom of the other. It keeps the roof line square to the dash and cowl. Required bracing on a frame off resto or rotisserie jig.

I'm bad at splaining stuffs :(

Edited twice

I talked to the shop where my 2640 is at...the clutch disc is backordered. After the bell housing is bolted back together, they still gotta split it again further back to replace the bearing on the PTO shaft. Might be a couple of months before it's done.

So....I bought this old beast to use in the meantime.

Add two vertical supports below the B pillars up to the roof line. Just above the rocker on the door jam. Put a cross bar from the top of one to the bottom of the other. It keeps the roof line square to the dash and cowl. You can cheat and raise the bottom mount up to get your floor pan installed. Required bracing on a frame off resto or rotisserie jig.

I need pictures... got a way to draw on photos?

I'm already planning on adding a brace where the yellow line is to prevent any parallelogram action from happening.
