Really well. Loving it. It's been a nice tool around the property and a nice stress reliever to go for a ride on some trails. You find anything yet?
Lots of folks down here Jack those up and run em in the mud. Heard they were a lot tougher than the Polaris stuff.

No my family would rather get a camper so we have been looking at those. Since most campgrounds let you have golf carts looking at buying one of those. Bonus is I can drive that to work every day.

What was the next smaller one? I cant remember exactly, but my ex FIL had one in his "yard truck". Maybe a 272? Had the exhaust crossover across the front of the engine like the 312.
The y blocks were the 272,292 and the 312 thunder bird engines. The fe took some design features from them but we’re completely different. Even made a few 312’s with injection.

It’s got the 360 4 Speed. F-250 long bed.
Never understood why ford limited the early to mid 70’s 4x4’s to the 360. Growing up dad had a 1974 ranger f100 heavy half 390 4 barrel 4:11 posi. Neighbor had the same year truck with 360 and open rear but can’t remember gears in his but very noticeable difference power wise. Might have been lots in the gears though, if you can find a 361 or 391 you can machine the front of the crank down for counterbalance set up and run the forged steel crank in a 360 block. Well I guess the 361 crank I don’t know if a 391 would work for sure. Just knew few guys that did it when I was a kid.

It’s hard to find any of that stuff around here these days. When scrap metal got high a few years back, most everything got hauled off.
