Love hearing about their stories. My grandfather was on the uss Yorktown in midway when it sank. Those old men had so much courage and I hope we share what we learn from them for generations to come!

Not only has it doubled or more here, lumber is still slim pickins in these parts especially treated. Paid $184 for (4) 4x4x16's the other day. About poo'd myself. I definitely save what materials I can

The only place that the prices have started to retreat that I have seen is Home Depot. But the selection is pretty sad.

Update; doctoring Gunther has shown some fruit, he isn't coughing nearly as hard and is able to get some gunk up without a big "gack" at the end.

The only place that the prices have started to retreat that I have seen is Home Depot. But the selection is pretty sad.

Its very sad at the home depot here too. Been having to go Carter lumber a few towns over to get lumber. Outside of lumber though the home depot seems to have everything else i need which is good because carter's prices are sky high on everything.

Good morning and a good Veterans day to all that have served.
Grandfather was on an LST that was sunk at Guadalcanal.
Dad served in the Air Force. Built hangers and landing strips in the mountains of Vietnam.
Cousin was a helicopter pilot in Korea AND Vietnam.
Thanks again to ALL vets for keeping us safe and free.
