Some of the counties in wisconsin have emissions testing. Been that way over 30 years.

I went through a pile of BS in the 90's trying to get a truck to pass. Finally tagged it two counties away where my brother lived, since his county didn't do emissions tests.

Interesting. I’ve only lived in Lincoln and Vilas counties and neither have had anything like that. Good to know. What state are you in?

Colorado is the same. BFE less people no testing. Live by any of the major cities they have emissions testing.

I did preface with seriously, but appreciate my track record doesn't include much serious stuff.
But it was a genuine question regarding fish handling in conditions that i am not familiar with Steve.

Sorry Adam, it was hard to cypher the angle you were going for.
When out ice fishing you are on a frozen lake nowhere close to shore. So, when you catch a fish, you simply plop them on the ice. When you leave and collect up your catch, they are sometimes partly or fully frozen depending on the air temperature. If fully frozen it's generally custom to leave them outside until the next day as it is late and will take too long to thaw out to fillet. I guess you can call it fresh or fresh frozen, either way it's perfectly fine and delicious.

I live in Colorado now.

In Wisconsin, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Washington, and Waukesha, counties have emissions testing. I used to live in one of them, most times it wasn't any issue but one of my turds wouldn't pass, after the 3rd fail, I just tagged it where my brother lived.
