Good morning and happy Sunday gentlemen. Church. Then I’m headed to a visitation for a friends dad who passed from cancer too young.. At the same time the neighbors are taking Calvin to a basketball tournament today - the team won their games yesterday so today they play for the championship.

Hash and eggs this morning and fresh cup of coffee going down.
Got the tractor ready last night and polished a set of 440 Rotax heads, making Ski-Doo's great again-2025.
Our average yearly snowfall is 111" here at the Island City, so, I guess we're owed some this year.
Good news is with low snowfall we have over a foot of ice on the lakes, so they are more than ready for travel on.

That is where the ugly government comes in. They won't do what is right, they will do what the tree huggers and nutballs tell them to. All those mountains with all that snow, and they can't seem to harvest enough water. An ocean right there, but can't seem to build a desalination plant. All that sunshine, and could build a solar distillery for water. Nope! Not happening. I am not sure how the nutcases got the majority. Too many almonds I guess.

14 here this morning. I wish this crap would melt so the wife could get her car up the driveway. But don't look like it's going to happen this week. It's steep and the sun doesn't hit it. I put my truck in 2wd when we turned in yesterday and it wouldn't move, just spinning.

I shot a squirrel with my .17 HMR that was trying to get in my lawnmower shed. It was a mangled up mess. Pretty much turned it inside out. They chewed the gas cap off my mower and chewed the bottom out of an upside down 5 gallon bucket and made a nest in it.

Bastids here, chewed the handle portion of a 6 gallon gas can just enough to make it leak. Epoxy to the rescue.
Placed a lid to a garbage can above the suet hanging for the birds, fun to watch them slide off of it.

Mice have been a much bigger problem and caused more destruction than anything else, caught number 65 last night.
A pair of owls come in from time to time and wreak havoc on the squirrel population. Hanging out on a branch one second, dinner the next.
