lol I drove a year or more before getting even a permit
Benefits of living in the country

I was 6 the first time I got to drive my dad home from a bar.
He was of course quite drunk.
My mom was not impressed with him.
It was a big azz Buick of the 70's era. Orange with a white vinyl top. The part I remember the most was how I locked up the brakes on the gravel driveway coming into the yard and almost bounced my head off the steering wheel. I'm not even certain I could see much past the hood actually...

You sure you didn’t bounce your head off the steering wheel? It might explain some things

What a waste of good beef, my sister in law finally gave in and tried a med cooked ribeye vs well done and now won’t eat her old way.
I could not tell you what steak cut is what, its all beef to me, I generally just eat a hamburger or shredded beef taquitos. A friend got prime beef one time and had me try it...yeah, no.

Not much better than fresh homemade biscuits right outta the oven. :hambre:
Amen!!

Just eat the Christmas tree
Hmm....that's a thought!! :D

I like money too much to not work usually more then 40 a week probably 50-60 on weeks nothing else is happening. Another thing I don’t get is the lack of wanting to drive out of the young crowd now. I wanted my license soon as I could but my kids and their friends don’t seem to care that much
The gig I have now gets projects done when production isn't running, so I'll do a couple days this week and next for double time. I'll still be home for all of the holidays and the weekend.

I trout fished the juniata in Bedford county today. You boys that live in the sticks are lucky.

Used to hit the Susquehanna in canoes every other year with a bunch of guys from up an down the east coast. Camped at the confluence of Suskie and Juniata, seems like it was just under a tunnel NW of Duncannon. We'd float up and down between there and a pullout just downstream of the little Statue of Liberty This was before the smallmouth population started getting the lesions or growths or whatever. man, they were like footballs then!
Found out a lot about PA boating & fishing laws also, license visible on back of shirt or front of hat, and that even with only a trolling motor on a canoe, you needed State numbers and can get a PUI (paddling under the influence). Yes, there were a few guys that found out by getting some healthy fines!:cursing2::cursing2::cursing2:
