Looks great Dan! You were obviously holding back your talent helping with mine. LOLEvening fellas. Pics of the woodshed now that it is done. 1 1/2 facecord of barkless red oak in the shed so far. Next build is a lean to wood shed on the Fire Escape then a 12x24' woodshed for all the ash wood I have to split and stack.

Something is going on
There’s been a swarm of 4s, 5s, and 6s earthquakes going on today near Adak
That region is very seismically active anyway but this could be something
We have had an increase in volcanic activity out the chain as well
My earthquake app won’t stop pinging
Got another 5.3 and a 5.0 while I was writing this

A 350 does tend to leave a path of destruction in its wake.might be him in his ole ass Chevy, tripping out the fault lines.
No I took my meds earlierYou forgot your meds again.
lol wait until you get my age and see how you doDally can't hang.
You gawd dang skippy.
Yikes, Delta Junction can get COLD, like 40-50 below for weeks at a time, so I hope he has wood laid in or fuel oil or somethingMy neighbor Jerry is heading up that way, might be him in his ole ass Chevy, tripping out the fault lines. (joking hope everything turns out OK)
He asked me, if I wanted to go with him? I asked him how long he planned to stay up there, he had no clue when he was coming back, said he might stay up there until February, March or who knows. He has some land 15-20 miles or so, from Delta Junction with a cabin on it, he's owned since he was in his 20's, he's 80 now. I kinda worry about him taking such a long trip alone. I know his daughter is worried also, she put a tracking device on his truck, so she can keep tabs on him. I told him if he brakes down give me a holler, I'll saddle up.
Watch, Pacific Rim…Something is going on

Depending on where his cabin is and what equipment he has he might not get out until breakup which would be late May at the earliest
Although I guess he knows that after 60 years, assuming he has all his marbles
Old perverts always want pics of daughters…He's pretty sharp for his age, IMO. Physically he gets around better then some people half his age.
His wife, daughter, and him flew up there this past spring to stock pile wood & hang out for a week, and build a new outhouse, in case he got the itch to go up there this winter. Well he got the itch to go. His wife, is sitting the trip out, staying here where it's warmish most of the winter.
Years ago he told me his place was only accessible in the winter on snowmobile (okay snow-machine) sometime in the last 10-12 years, they paved a large section of the road going out of town, towards his cabin, now he can damn near drive right to it, or within a mile or so of it, then park and walk in on snow shoes. He has a bit of a support group up there, one of his high school friends is real close by, and a few others he knows in that neck of the woods.
Dallas said I was an idiot for not going with him, plus he wanted pics of his daughter, after he did the math. Imagine that. . . . .
Big boy Tonka?Ok, ok…no politics so just ignore the 2 guys and ID the saws
