When we lived up in the White Mountains of Arizona there were a surprising number of snow machines, which makes sense since there was a ski resort a little higher up on the Apache reservation

Our hard working daughter topped off a haul of school awards with a couple of doozys.
Then the haka she and her schoolmates performed to honour the change in year 13 student leadership was powerful and emotional. If it's made public I'll post it up. Completely different vibe to the one we discussed recently.

Every so often the floor drain in the service drive in area smells like pickled asshòles. I'm sure the customers enjoy that. The service writers seem to like the smell of festering, chaffed butthole.
I think they definitely botched the plumbing when that addition was done.

Might just be the traps running dry, but I wouldn't doubt if it was botched either.

This is the second time this has happened, but first time that I was there for it. Apparently there is a small sewage pump station, like a garbage disposal for sewage, in the one end of the parking lot that was needed because of how long the lateral is. Nobody knew it was there until the plumber came out last time with a camera truck and found it. It was buried under 2 feet of mulch. The pump inside was broken, and the plumber who came out was able to hotwire it to get the sewer cleared, but he warned it was a temporary fix and it would happen again.

All anyone heard was "fixed". Here we are, a month or two later. Now this time I think the lateral actually has a break in it, in addition to that pump not running.

I drove past this morning. Store is open, and there's no plumber on site. There's a fresh puddle of sewage still out in the parking lot and you can smell it as you drive by. I called and told them I'm not going in until it's fixed.
