Once we decided to estimate how much we spent each year on these things. Over 20 years ago, we were spending about 15k each on feeding our addictions.

when i quit smoking a carton of cigarettes was 85 bucks and i smoked 3 cartons a month so 255 a month plus tax

Exactly why I won’t do those things. I would much rather have the money for trucks, trailers, tractors, chainsaws, mowers, etc…

lol i had plenty of fun weekends over the years myself
even in memphis on beall street for my 33rd birthday
half hung over and was at bristol race the following night
never was into drugs but ive done my share of drinking

My parents used to send me into the Base Exchange to grab cartons for them
