Good looking pup.i would like to have some more to train, that's my favorite part.Morning all, dull weather here today
@greystone mountain man, here is one of our next generation of hound, he's a harrier x teagle mix for a change
We have a supplier that carries those “bridged” studs or whatever. It’s like a smaller stud on each side with dowels in between. No more thermal bridging through the stud. I’ve used the glulam style and they are stout for sure. This will be the future since the trees that are cut for lumber now suck!Finger jointed studs have been around since the 1980's. They can be used for structural framing.
I know builders who only use finger jointed lumber, for building entire homes. Simply because of how straight they are, less prone to twist, bowing, warping, etc.
Last handful of years, a lot of builders have been switching to LVL glulam studs. They are hella stout, almost no bounce when nailing to them.
Still fullwere. That's past tense.
So you're not full now?
