A couple springs ago I approached an oak log with a large bloom of oyster mushrooms on it. As I reached down to cut I noticed what couldn't have been more than a few hours old fawn curled under it. So tiny and so scared. I removed the shrooms and got out of there so Mom could come back.
I mowed a set of twins last year....

Evening fellas. It's funny what a bit of shade does for keeping a dry condition yard going. Shaded areas were about 6" long and sun bleached areas were a dust bowl.

We've got some junior enforcement folks that have to much time on there hands. Neighbors got nasty grams for about 8" long spots in a otherwise short cut very dry yard. :(  :bash:

Weather cooperated, sunny but cold and windy

The longest grass in the shade wasn’t dry but I mowed the hell out of it anyway

Might be my last chance

The areas where they were just working look like crap but they will be fine next year

And just so you are aware, my Ego 765 leaf blower will launch those 1” and 1 1/2” river rocks if you hit the turbo button

😳
