It is the husky bearing. I dont know of any other bearing that will work for this combination.

I dont think so Mike. I'm gonna make a notch on each side of the connecting rod. I thought about notching the brass, but I don't want to weaken it.

Why notches instead of drilling a couple of holes in the rod end? I have opinion either way, just curious if one is better/easier than the other.

I've thought about drilling a hole, but I think a notch on each side would be easier to do, and deburr well enough to be sure the bearing holds up.
