I made a living rebuilding vintage vacuum tube amplifiers up till I decided I needed good liability insurance just to be safe.
Luckily, I never needed it before I got out of that (prolly did 100 amps).

He thought you may have made a room that was "scream proof" (like Dall).
I was into pro/studio sound most of my life.
You did a good job, but with complete coverage of foam, you better have a good microphone/reverb components.
She's got the equipment figured out. I don't know what any of this shït is. She's done over 1000 audiobooks, and earned industry awards. I just carry the devices and put them where they need to be.

Thanks for the compliment. Are you familiar with Studio Bricks at home recording booths? That's what she's coming from, so I had to throw some effort towards this.

You want some reflection for reverb.
Alot of people talk/sing in the bathtub/shower for that very reason. Lol
The deader your room, the better equipment you need.

She'll be submitting samples to her clients tomorrow, so we'll find out. She said she's not worried.

Genuinely cool.
I never went valvey, but have high current NAD and Rotel stuff stashed away for a more roomy day.

DANGEROUS!
Older stuff is 600-650v.
If I had to test a R or Capacitor in a active circuit, I did so with 1 hand behind my back (lcr or dmm meter).
I used a dim bulb or variac to minimize risk.
