I have a Husqvarna chain on one of my Stihl's.
It didn't melt it.

all over a chain husky claims they made when they are more than likely made in oregon factory
and copying stihl design lol

atleast i can keep all you old guys hearts pumping

Not me i run 3.00 a loop 84dl china chain
49.59 after tax IMG_20240326_181502.jpgfor a loop of 72dl stihl at rural king
i bought like 16 chains for that with free shipping.

Just to expand on this a bit: Ace Hardware’s are franchised. So each owner decides for himself whether or not they want to be a Stihl Dealer. Not all of them are.
There’s an Ace in Anchorage that has always had files, wedges, filters, and other consumables at about half what Stihl says they should go for

I’m not sure how they haven’t been slapped down by Stihl corporate

IDK, maybe that’s all part of the marketing plan
