They are called a Venom Power Terra Hunter. Reviews were good, but might be Chinese junk for all I know. Tread is deep, over 1/2” like the bfg.
Cheapest I found the bfg were $852 shipped
These were $627 shipped

BFG TA KO2 have treated me great in snow and mud and very good tread life.
I was getting them for 100.00 per tire
But my source dried up.
I have a new set of mastercraft courser 10 ply that came on my silverado does great so far
No snow yet.

Have a buddy who swears by the Mastercraft Courser AXT on his Landcruiser.

I agree, but can't fully support this. That might make shipping saws to you more expensive....and stuff. Plus, you wifi would prolly be worse than in PA.

I’ve had piss poor luck with 7 or 8 different brands of tires in the last 30 years. Mostly with the tread pattern not working in snow after 2 years. A couple different sets on the wife’s cars started thumping at 30k. But so far this tread pattern seems to work well on my truck even when they’re worn down. Thinking I’ve gone through 3 sets of the bfg on this truck. I’m hoping that the tread and sidewalls on this off brand are somewhat comparable. I’ll probably sell the truck before I find out

I talked to a gunsmith friend and a few shooter's more into the current 1911 market that I know.
Most of them recommend the Turkish 1911s
Before the current pricing they were.
low-end 350.00 and up for a forged frame/slide/barrel those that have them are very impressed with them.
Mid range the desert eagle 1911s
Forged slide cast frame.
They come with most all the features anyone wants great triggers and fit and finish on several versions they tried.
used to be around 600
Don't know now how much
Springfield of course for a bit more than that.
I'm selling a couple gun's
And might get a Turkish 1911 .45 commander.
I guess SDS is a major importer and TISAS
Is one of their manufacturer's.

That WiFi thing might suck. We’ve got everything plumbed in for Truestream here. Supposed to be operational by December. Lightening uploads and downloads and basically unlimited bandwidth. A far cry from the wireless WiFi with 1-2 bars that we currently have

They are in the early stages of Truestream here. Will be 2 years b4 its available I guess. Way, way faster than our current stuff but its all we can get here that is worth a damn.

We have Stratos wireless broadband right now. Just fast enough to steam Netflix or Hulu. But not on more than one TV at a time.
