During the china sickness I seen a homemade sign is a yard saying kids need germs. It was a good laugh how they had it written and I wish I could have got a picture. You are right people have gone nuts. They have forgotten how they were raised.

They have kids in school. I see it with my friends in the same situation. Last week my friend said his daycare facility had flu pink eye and who knows what else going through so he kept his son home as they didn’t want any of that at their house. They just got over a bug he said.

We are NOT germaphobes. This happens every school year. The kids get sick more often than I do. I can see your perspective though, that you think I’m sick a lot - and there’s no doubt I am compared to you. But compared to other parents of young children, this is nothing out of the ordinary.

We believe that kids should be in close contact with dogs, cats, dust, dirt, and cowshit. Trying to live inside a germ free bubble is probably the worst possible environment for humans.

when i was a kid our water came out of the hillside into a concrete holding tank and it would have crawcrabs and other bugs there swimming and straight piped to the house
no filters other than a screen so the bugs couldnt get stuck in the pipe

now people think they need to have purified water anytime they have a drink
