Well slackers and Dallicia torn meniscus is what the mri shows. Called the bucket handle lateral tear. Surgery is the 15th and doctor said should only take about 30 minutes. He is just going to remove the piece as it’s an easier option for recovery. Repairing it is not necessary and that recovery is 5 months or better.

Could be worse, trimming instead of stitching back is definitely the best way to go.
