WowToday I got pitchers of my private hoard, these mfers became my personal property after I was "willed" them by the previous wholesaler when they quit. The computer on the right is my home away from home, and that I hear that little grey and silver thing in my dreams.

Those books are friggin gold, you can't get 98% of them anymore. The light blue Carburetor Parts book in pic 1 (left, vertical) lists damn near every carb brand and model from carb's inception to death, there's a gasket picture book that has life-sized images of gaskets and their thickness (last left vertical book), a life-sized book of wheel studs listed by the thread pitch (thin orange Dorman book, right horizontal book on top in pic #1).
Same.I thought I wasn't allergic to anything either. Then I found out I was allergic to stupidity. Go figure.
I know who to get in touch with on the odd stuff nowThose books are friggin gold, you can't get 98% of them anymore. The sections listing tie rod/drag link end tapers, the back of shock books listing them dimensionally, the picture books of radiator hoses with end dimensions, 1000% valuable for custom builds and 100% ignored by fng's. Also the secret weapons that way sped up the power steering conversion of my Ferd.
Damn straight, same goes for all y'all.I know who to get in touch with on the odd stuff now

Hawt damn, is there anything you don't know? 100% correct on that, the Echlin picture books all have all the oem numbers (up to the point they were published at, obviously) for the electrical bits listed below them. That's an amazing stash right there, Mr. D. Having the NAPA books is helpful also because they contain a lot of the original OE part numbers matched with their numbers. That's especially helpful with the electrical parts.
We had DADs old NAPA books in the early 80s His were 60s .. we could get the diaphragms for hydra vac units on farm trucks. New NAPA books only listed the complete assembly. Their books were Echlin - Monroe - Rayovac - Memory gets challenging at times just saying NAPA had a lot of suppliers back in the day. Things Change. Those books are friggin gold, you can't get 98% of them anymore.
