What can I say, chicks dig a guy who’s in touch with his feminine side

Backstory: when I was diagnosed with raging type 2 diabetes a little over 10 years ago the podiatrist suggested I start getting pedicures because the feet is where neuropathy and the other symptoms first start and getting pedicures is a good way to know if you are losing feeling in your feet

Fast forward 9 months from diagnosis, I completely changed my lifestyle, lost a lot of weight, and essentially cured myself of diabetes and no longer needed to closely monitor my feet

But I found that I enjoyed having healthy feet that didn’t horrify people at the pool like so many other men my age with their awful “man feet” so I just kept going every month with the boss and eventually started getting a manicure as well and I haven’t looked back

I use O’Keefes on my hands and feet every day, especially in the winter because it’s so terribly dry here, and they don’t crack and get in bad shape

So, that’s that the story and you can rip on me all you want or not

I’m 68 and healthy and happy with myself
O’Keefes is the only thing that keeps my finger nails from splitting in the winter. If you’ve never had a nail split from the cuticle up you’re not missing anything. lol

Hanging sheetrock my fingers split & bleed like a Mf'er. It's a year around thing, but winter time is the worst.

I've tried a O'Qeeffe's, and about every other potion under the sun, said to be good for dry skin.

Only thing that works for me is, slathering my hands in udder balm in the evening, then putting rubber gloves on for the night. That gets me to about mid way threw the following day, then they start drying out and splitting. Then the sheetrock dust gets in the cracks and burns, and they start bleeding again.

Oh well, I just deal with it until I get home and soak them. It's a never ending process. They never heal, unless I quit working for a while.

To each their own. My wife goes all the time for manicure and pedicure and in the winter i ask why the pedicure. She has shoes and socks on and not flip flops (or jandels for our kiwi friends) so nobody sees it. She has to keep her nails about fingertip long for work (something about bacteria and 1000 pair of neoprene gloves a day) but still gets manicures.

I however have never once thought about going, but thats me. 😂

Try this stuff. You can get it on Amazon. Its not real cheap but the *s-word works. My wife gets it free at the hospital, its kind of greasy but it soaks in fast so i put it on at night before bed and thats it. My hands used to get the same way before i started using this.

If my health goes to *s-word, it is going to be something that is beyond my wife’s control and not lack of prevention because she stays on top of our health🤣
Before I got sick in 2016 I was in good health too but after I got sick I was never right and lost a lot of stamina
Last January is when I started having the chest pains and out of breathe from doing everyday things
And like these Paul Harvey things going on
You know the rest of the story

I’m get all the preventive maintenance BS. Yearly physicals, blood work, dental every 6 mths, etc. Can’t wait for the colon blow and finger test lol. If something starts going south it’ll be found quick😄

How you doing anyway bro? You went a bit quiet for a while there.

I'm alive, is about all I have to say.

I get extra crotchety this time of the year, for a few different reasons.

So I try to stay quiet instead of making a complete ass of myself, like I usually do.

I remember the pic's you sent me back then, of all the blood you had coughed up in the bathtub.

I was like WTF, go see a doctor.
