I gots some hours doing those chip system floors. Mostly in commercial buildings. That epoxy and urethane topcoat is some nasty stuff.

Yea I pissed one of them guys off during cold weather a few years ago. Superintendent on job gave us the ok and we went on the floor and did our job. Yea it wasnt until one of us notice we were tracking those lil chips into job trailer that we figured the floor was fubar. Thankfully the superintendent owned up to it.

Cool mainly carbon steel then?
outside walls of the boiler is carbon the reheats superheats and inner tubes that are in the direct line of the air flowing through is stainless
they also inconel clad the boiler wall tubes so after the tube welding is done then another step of cladding the repaired area usually using migs

Used to happen all the time to us. I'll never forget we just finished a metallic epoxy floor and some guy came cruising in right through the caution tape and sign stating there was wet epoxy. He got one step onto the wet floor and he went down hard. Not to mention he was now covered in chemical based epoxy.
