No, he wont do drivability because that could turn into engine mechanical.
There is no rhyme or reason to it all.
Service writers don't like him. It all comes down from the owner.

You're learning.
Now take that and times it by a thousand, ten thousand, or a hundred thousand and you'll understand how a big corporation works.
It's just a big daisy chain of ass kissers and yes men.

Call it stubborn, stupid pride or whatever, but I refuse to stoop to the asskisser level and the screw the consumer attitude as well.
I make a comfortable living with a clean conscience knowing I put everything I have into every job. I dont need all the praise and fanfare like many here do. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. I couldnt live with myself acting the way he and many others do.

We had a driveability guy named Stan Flush cause thats all he knew how to do was flush injectors and spray wd40 on everything then blow it off so it looked like he did something.

Light line n heavy line is where its at. Im guessing you guys dont see any R-motor intake jobs come in anymore?

Most of those vehicles are in the scrap yards 95% of the way back to earth again around here.

I dont get to pick and choose what I do. I could do diesel head gaskets followed by a dash rattle followed by programming, then a burnt up trans after.

I'm much the same way, just don't be surprised when you end up being the one taking your tools down the road and the ass smoochers are still there.

Yea we never had that because they didnt want a tech that just crawled out of an engine bay climbing his greasy ass into a Z06 to do a window regulator.

So youre the guy that I can get a crate engine from for my Chevelle:)

My know-it-all friends new to the army grandson came in on leave before being sent to afganistan.
Luckily his orders were changed.
He doesn't have to go
Unluckily he claimed to have shot a crossbow before
He hadn't.
He's now missing his entire left thumbnail and the end of his finger
Which is broken now.
He's a mechanic in the army it's going to suck for a few weeks.
