Released them in 1996
I saw it in a ad in a magazine.
You had to pay big money back them for
A Beaver tail grip and extended
Safety's.
It was 425.00 back then
Many thousands of rounds through it now.

I'm looking at the Turkish commander .45s
Some friends really like their Turkish 1911s
One guy has several thousand though his
Idpa shooting.
Before panic 350.00 or so
I'm selling stuff first
And my nephew has a nice high polished
Kimber .45
I might trade him out of.

Always liked the straight main spring of a 1911. A1’s just dont look right.

Looks good though. Can you finish in oven? I tried for years to cook on a weber and old smokey because it was all I had space for. I bought a smoker with a firebox from walmart for my first pit before finally building one. My buddy has an electric pellet smoker that takes all the guess work out of it though. I made fun of it at first till i saw what it could do.
