Well, verdict from the orthopedic doctor wasn't great. Mom completely tore her rotator cuff and that is gonna have to be operated on and also her hand took some of the fall too and a couple of the screws came loose, so they have to re-operate on it. I'm trying to look for the silver lining but I'm not seeing it. They are gonna do the hand Monday. Not sure when the shoulder is gonna get done yet.
Can't like this at all Joe

A: I hate fish in any way, form, or fashion

B: I love to hunt but even up here the cost doesn’t pencil out

If I put meat in the freezer so much the better

I filled our freezer with mostly caribou when we lived in the bush and some moose now and then
I hate fish too. Quadrupeds for the win.

It's none of my business I know, but depending on age and prior health waiting to redo a shoulder can get tricky

For various reasons I had to wait 4 months after I destroyed my shoulder to get it fixed and at my age then, 65, the doctor was worried that the ends of the tendons would have atrophied and left not much for the reattachment procedure

Luckily the fact I was in great shape and my shoulders were well toned from all the mountain biking meant it went really well for me but everyone is different

I am sincerely hoping for the best outcome for your mom and you as well

Damn *f-worders, baseball bat and a crowbar, a glock in the back pocket, wildlife cameras in the terrain, if you're lucky you'll catch them in the act next time.
A round of brutal beating with punches is what they need, preferably a round of bullwhip as well.

Don't hold back Tor, tell us how you really feel...

Fescues are great starter grasses to get a root system going IMO. Many are extra tolerant to a variety of more severe conditions and abuse.
Here are a couple of links to the U of M's site.
Lawn/Garden testing U of M and the soil testing info page
Soil Testing for Lawns and Gardens.
I didn't think their testing fees were to bad.
I know the Fescue really helped the lawn feel much more solid underfoot

The mix was 2 types of Fescue and 3 types of Blue Grass, all arctic cultivars

I didn't see anything other than that fine wispy Fescue for the longest time and then all of a sudden I noticed the blue shimmering grass in places when the wind would blow

The mix is supposed to be shade tolerant, drought tolerant, etc etc

I looked at a few testing kits and some are way better reviewed than others and I don't mind spending the money for meaningful results

Fish eating makes you vegan?
My daughter in law is a hard core vegan and thinks she is allergic to every food known to man and is constantly sick and has migraines

So much for a healthy lifestyle choice

Her daughter is a hard core meataterian

You ask her what she wants to eat and the answer is "meat on the bone"

You are dead to me

So mean & hurtful, so sad also, I was just starting to like you. Lol

Fish eating makes you vegan?

Vegans don't eat any animals or any food that is derived from animals.

Did you see that ribeye I had the other day?

See the cow eats the green stuff, and I eat the cow, that's as close to being vegan as I will ever be.

Never met a healthy looking vegan or vegetarian. I understand the desire to not be cruel to animals, but I can't wrap my head around the lack of understanding that you need protein. Soy doesn't count.

Two dead birds equals a quadruped! Just sayin'

I don't care for birds or any foul, I will eat it if needed, or if someone made it and put it in front of me, but I don't go out of my way to make it or have it on my g-store list.

Fish, pork, beef. Is the meat I like and buy often.

We ate birds a lot growing up, just kinda burned me out on it.

You should try fish fresh. You might like it. Lol

Seriously thou, world would be a boring place if we all liked the same things, and then there would not be enough fish for me.
I like certain kind of fish. I like tuna, catfish, Mahi Mahi, walleye. Fookin hate salmon. Blech. I'm also very selective about where it comes from. I love shellfish. I like shrimp but I've gotten picky about it because it's hard to find fresh, clean shrimp.

Me either. She's gonna be off work for a while, and two more surgeries isn't gonna be fun.
