A skunk looking for grubs can tear some stuff up.
I've never seen a badger, and it's been a while since I've seen any turkeys, but we definitely have skunks. Would a possum do this? We have those as well, don't see them too often though.

I was hoping the Ring doorbell camera would pick it up but I guess whatever it is, its not big enough to set off the camera. If I could find a cheap trail camera I'd look into it.
Seems to only happen overnight, which makes me think it's not crows.
If that's the case, I'm gonna have to watch letting the dog out at night. She'd get her dumb ass sprayed in 2 seconds. Guess the only way to get rid of it is to get rid of the grubs. I'm surprised I have them, I get yard sprayed twice a year for them.
Armadillos will fukk a yard up just like that as well.
That is why, "don't drink the battery acid", is in the owners manual.
