Spent 4 hours pressure washing daughter's house yesterday. Back at it today. Using a telescoping 18' wand to reach the peaks. It's easier than using a short wand climbing an extension ladder.

Checking in on the weekend. Sometimes you just gotta sleep in. Temps milder today, and this guy is happy about it. I am going to spend some time with my daughter and her husband today. Mundane stuff mostly but I do miss having them around.

Company structure like that is why I left a couple places I worked. Way too top heavy and they wouldn’t invest any money into new tools we needed to make us more efficient, but they would buy the bosses new pickups and desks without question..

We FINALLY got some measurable rain! It’s been MONTHS! They guessed we’d get 1/2” last night, but I’ll take the 2 1/4” !! Thank God!

Dang, now I want to bake up a apple pie, still have close to a bushel from our 3 trees. Need to do another batch of apple butter as well.

Probably the best apple pie I have ever had had aged cheddar mixed in the pastry and then topped with a French vanilla ice cream. Oh how I miss the days that I could eat gluten
