Hump day, knuckle shufflers, is here. Early start herding the cats ( read apprentices ). Working the OT again. I would trade it all in for a cabin and a part time repair job somewheres around Montana. Just me the missus, a couple of saws, tools, and the truck. Don't mind busting it for money, just a little worn out on the general entitlement and laziness I am surrounded by most days.

Become debt free and all that can be yours. I have a buddy that makes more money than I do, and will have to work until he is dead. He spends every cent he makes and doesn't have two nickels to rub together. I have been blue collar, albeit skilled blue collar, and retired at 51. I am working to cure boredom, and shoring up my assets so the kids have more when I am gone. It helps that the wife and I share the same goal. It all comes down to choices that we make.

Mornings are getting cooler, starting to see some leaves begin to change color.
I'm definitely looking forward to bow season just to be out in the woods.

Mornings are getting cooler, starting to see some leaves begin to change color.
I'm definitely looking forward to bow season just to be out in the woods.

Been hot a fúk around here, yet I am seeing the leaves start to turn too. Dove season starts first Saturday of September, bow season follows soon after. Too warm to hang a deer until end of October here. Decisions!

So...I hit the drive-thru at Bojangles early thirty this morning for a couple of country ham biscuits. Boy on a Harley was coming from my direction for the most part, cutting in and outta traffic, cutting mf'rs off, etc. He pulls into the Bojangles right before I did and obviously thought he was gonna beat a fella in a truck to a parking spot that the dude in the truck had already started turning in to. Dude on the bike parks next to the truck and starts raising hell at the guy, "I'm on a bike, I was gonna park there," "mf'r this, mf'r that" and so on. Needless to say, biker *b-wordh got parked alright...right into the asphalt. Lesson learned for you biker *b-wordez that think you automatically turn into a Billy Bad Ass when you straddle the seat of a bike, might wanna re-think yer ass whippin' skills a little before you let yer eagle mouth overload yer canary ass. Gotta luv it.

Oftentimes it's too warm here too, until November. Fortunately we are pretty well set up to deal with it except for a walk in cooler.
We can get it quartered at least and even some of it de-boned and into the fridge we have in my Dad's smokehouse in short order.

Nahhh...this ain't my first rodeo cowboy, I've seen it wayyy too many times over the decades. Some fukkers seem to think they're automatically some patched-in ass-whippin' Hells Angels member, road belongs to them when they get on their bikes. Had the turd been in a vehicle this would've never happened. He and his Harley simply wrote a check his 160-170lb ass couldn't cash.
