What powerhouse does yours have in it? One I’m looking at Detroit diesel

Mine has the 4BTA Cummins. Most of the TJ’s came with Detroits.

Mine gots two General Electric F414-GE-400 afterburning turbofan engines, 22K lbs thrust each...same *s-wordt they put in F/A-18 Super Hornets. But I ain't trying to brag or nuthin, just letting y'all know what my Timberjack got in it. I mean if ya'll wanna bring yer pink slips we can meet at Thunder Road and do some Danny Zuko kinda *s-wordt.

Not gonna lie, I enjoy the wail of the Detroit 2 strokes. Probably be different If I had to feed it fuel and listen to it all day, every day.

Used to build dyno systems at a previous employer. Spent many hours listening to our 8v-92ta getting beat up testing the dynos prior to shipping the new systems out.

That’ll be a good machine. I’ve got experience in newer Deere’s and also newer Cat’s. But the TJ is easy on fuel, easy to work on when needed, and parts are available.. The last Cat I had used about 16-18 gallons of diesel a day for my one man operation. The TJ only uses 7-8… Of course the TJ is lighter, and is limited compared to the bigger, newer stuff, but fir the money, they’re hard to beat. Great machines when taken care of.

They only weigh about 15k lbs so they are easily moved on a gooseneck trailer behind a pickup.

My lazy, unemployed POS, SOB cousin who lives in the house (has lived there for 15 years where he sucked off my grandparents like a leech all the way to their graves) hasn't come out of his room or lifted a finger to help the entire time. Then as I'm sitting on the front porch this evening I saw him going out with his whale of girlfriend.

So I guess he feels well enough to go out for dinner and well enough to put his dick in shamu but he not well enough to do any work.
