Canola field?
Yes, very diverse agriculture around us, way ahead of schedule this year. If we can avoid any sever storms and hail the farmers will be rolling in it this fall. I have a cousin whose corn is already above his head. Fall rye and wheat are already turning gold and will be harvesting by mid month at least a couple weeks earlier than normal. We had our 4th hottest May and 2nd hottest June of all time with some reasonable moisture too. Should make up for some of the poor weather years we've had recently.

Obviously yours is betterer. But I'm working with what i have. How many miles? I didn't put one mile on the bike over the weekend. But did ride to work today

Those are older pics. Top one is Wyoming, bottom pic Montana.
I'll be back in South Dakota/Wyoming at the end of the month.

Looks like UPS walked away from the table this morning at 4AM. I don't keep up with all the negotiations, mainly just the highlights, but it seems like a lot of the hangup is in dealing with how we were treated during the covid days. I know from first hand experience that the company did everything it could to try to deny anything in the contract dealing with excessive work hours. During the same time UPS was making more profit than ever before. Billions in profit per quarter. I remember drivers in Springfield running out of DOT hours, so they would take a replacement driver out and pick up the first driver to bring them back in. Then they started invoking the 70 hour rule for emergency conditions. Reminiscent of Christmas time when they try to do the same BS, instead of hiring the workers they need. I don't know what is going on but I am beginning to wonder if UPS wants a strike to tank their stock prices to do a huge buy back at lower prices. When they announced that they were negotiating all through the holiday weekend and up to today the stock jumped in price.
You got a legit grievance. My company is doing similar *s-worde to us. Too much corporate stupid decision making. Maybe if those overpaid a$$wipes would tone down the accumulation of wealth by entitlement and invest their capital more wisely, i.e. hire some damned labor they wouldn't need to slit our throats at the bargaining table, when the fit hits the shan. Don't get me wrong I am a supporter of personal growth but when the problems outweigh the gain...

And you people don’t understand why I don’t like office dwellers
The ones that sit at a desk sucking more than air conditioning
That wouldn’t know what a days work is like
But they like going on trips for so called work where they get a fresh thing of Mayo in their mouths while trying to impress a customer
