TGIF slackomatics! Just had the day upended by corporate fudgepackers wanting to tour our little shop. Now playing... Mad Rush to Spitshine a Pig. Nearly the same weather in TN as here in SE MN. I don’t understand what’s going on up there @GCJenks204 though - tropical heat wave or what?!

South and South-East winds for days, haven't seen anything less than 20mph all week and have been gusting to 35 or 40 at times. I am not smart enough to guess anything beyond that.

Breezy here as well, but a few mph less than what you are experiencing. In town we are in the middle of a dry spell, it's been 8 days since the last drizzle (less than 0.1") and next Wednesday is the claimed next chance of moisture. And that is after a couple of days in the high 80's to low 90's.

Morning slackers. My help decided that working till 6 last night allowed him the excuse to not be in at 6 this morning. Told the boss he needs to sit home today to reflect on what it means to show up on time. He has a history of being late or not calling till 830-9. Could use the help but maybe an azz chewing from the boss will help him out. I’ll let him come back Tuesday and him and I will have a little chat about the importance of on time is. Hes 33 and has a kid on the way with a girl he’s been seeing since December. Dumbazz

we had a fresh journeyman years ago that had just got out of apprenticeship that thought he was above using a grinder when he topped out and all he had to do was weld

i jumped his ass in front of the foreman and the whole crew
i was in the crew also
he got so butthurt he left that day and didnt come back
this was probably 7 years ago
he now understands the ass chewing i gave him and has turned around to be a good hand

We have Thunderstorm watches issued for this afternoon/ evening but the POP is only 20% so... Have rain in the forecast Monday to Wednesday but only trace amounts. Starting to get very dry here too.

Gents, that was a fine squadron party this go ‘round…purely from a fried yardbird and sides standpoint. These goons bought 700 pieces of Kroger fried yardbird and God only knows the poundage in sides…when it was all said and done and who stuck around to eat accomplished that little mission, there were 200 pieces of untouched yardimus birdimus left in four 50-piece boxes. I confiscated 20 pieces and three styrofoam thingies slam full o’ sides before I jumped ship and hauled azz. I simply won’t stand for gubment waste so I stepped up to the plate and took one for the team…sometimes ya just gotta do yer part.
