I tried to help you dodge people I was at the scrapyard and a very nice swb d150
Was on the trailer behind me my friend has dozens of 60s/70s dodge car's and trucks I was going to buy it for him
it looked like a warlock or lil' red express edition but blue so I told the guy I'd pay more than scrap price for it
It was missing the trans and dash 1500.00 or nothing he says
He probably got 350.00 at most for it.
Typical Dudge owner logic.
Was in line with a Chebby S10 Blazer that the kids had left at the house.
Rule was 30 days, and your chit gets scrapped.
It had a good 4.3, but the 700R4 was roasted.
Body was ok.
I just wanted it gone.
Guy behind me came up and said "dont take it in, I'll give you $700 for it if it runs".
Yep, I followed him back to his yard. Less than a mile from me.
Made out good on that one.
Fed the kids steaks the next weekend.
They eventually learned not to bring their "projects" to our house.

Most of what's new doesn't interest me, maybe with the exception of two, 592 xpg and 560/562 xpg.
Out of everything I fixed and built, I kept these 242/246 which I use as all round, 2x254 which I use for bucking, 1x560 and 1x372, the last two have wrap xpg.
I have a 346xpg and a 262xp, these were gifts and will always be with me.

I must have built 10 pcs 550 and the same number in 346&353, 4x357, 3x262, I kept none of them.
Always wanted a 246xp, 254, and a 262xp.
Rebuilt a 262XP for my sons friend.
Enjoyed breaking it in for him.:).

Those ling long tires are awesome, pretty sure that is what they use in formula one. Lol

I know you are joking, but ling longs tires are nothing but trash, I tired a set back in 2009, did not even get 80 miles away from the shop, tread peeled right off one of the tires, it was just laying on the road like snake skin.

Put the spare on, turned around and started heading back to the shop I got them at, got 10 miles away I lost another one. I called the tire shop told him what was up, and to send someone to where I was with a spare tire on a rim, 150 miles lost tread off of two tires. You could not pay me money to run those *f-wording ling long tires ever again. Nothing but garbage tires.

I despise most china products. I try to avoid buying knock off AKA cheap chit as much as possible. I hate harbor freight, I will not spend one penny of my money in a harbor freight, bought a set of wrenches there 20 years ago, 9/16 and the 7/8 both snapped in half the first time I used them. You could see big voids in the metal where they broke. Nothing but junk!

Buy once, cry once. I left harbor freight, went to dealership row, and flagged down the snap-on truck, bought a full set of snappy wrenches. I have used & abused those snapper wrenches, never broke one yet, in 20 years. I don't use them daily, but it's nice to know they can take some use, without snapping in two. If I do ever break one, snap on will give me a new one for free.

Harbor freight would not do that with the trash they had.

The only Husky I own and will keep is a Stump Shot 254.
Also like a 268.
Grunty bastid.
Built one for my nephew, and have parts for another one that will get ported.
Stihls are just too shiny and boojie for me.
Also, folks that have them think they have some solid gold parts in there.
Yes, I'm a cheap mfer. :hello:

I have some critical tools that are high quality.
Torque wrenches and other "metrics"(not the measuring system, tools that require calibration and precision).
I use some Hobo Freight tools on a daily basis, but mostly because they are easily lost(stolen) in my line of work.
They(HF) will replace MOST hand tools free of charge without issue.
Not sure about power tools.
I have a 24" belt sander from there that has been a SOLID tool. Chicago brand.
Dont use it every day, but its been abused when I do.
Bought a corded oscillating cutter once. Lasted long enough for me to realise I needed one, but of a higher quality, so now I have one in a Milwaukee M18 cordless flavor.
