I have a telpro 138-2 the good one, made in the USA, not the cheap china knock off.

It might have 3 months of use on it, if that, it's in great shape never sat outside, I even have the big extension, for high lids.

I don't use it anymore, I'vea been meaning to list it on marketplace, or crackslist.....

I'd trade for some Ohio hardwood....Lol

Not sure if you will get that joke, some here will.

I bought a telpro 439 chain drive, it's so smooth and better in every way, I never could use the cable style again.

That was my 2nd 138-2, I done worn my first one out. So I bought a new one, then found a deal on a 439, after just a few months.

Once I used the 439 for a day, I thought why didn't I buy one 20 years ago. I put that 138-2 in storage summer of 2020, never used it again.

The 439 is really flipping nice! But spendy, they retail for $1,300

Anyone have any idea when they started putting warning labels, or stamps, on things?

I have two true temper mauls, one has a stamp on the side of the head, that says wear eye protection, other does not.

I assume the one with out the stamp is older, just ball park idea, when those warnings started?

I have no idea.
I don’t really care, just thinking out loud. Was at the Stihlership picking up some parts today and the owner asked if I had any idea how many saws I’d bought and if I knew where they all are. Your Ohio hardwood comment reminded me of Brad dickering with me over the price of a saw he never bought.

@Mastermind your parts should be in the mail Thursday.

For those of you with Arctic 462’s make sure you don’t mess up the handle, it’s proprietary and spendy to replace. Oh, and there are 2 versions so I need your serial number to be sure together the right one.

A few weeks ago, there was a subaru outback on the side of the road, I pulled over to see if the driver was OK or if he needed help.

He said he was fine and AAA was on the way, to change a flat tire.

I asked him, you don't know how to change a flat?

He said, no that's why I have AAA....

I had a few words come to mind, but none were nice. So I just left. I really wanted to call him a man-bun wearing pussy.

I'd guess he was about 23-25 years old.
