Anyone else use one of these New England style chokers? I've had it for a few years, don't use it too much, but every time I do it's a joy. So well designed. It's 1/2" 8' and I think I paid less than $20 for it. Perfect for a 1 man operation like me.

Mine does something different than yours does I think. Mine uses heat to make fuel, yours uses fuel to make heat. Lol

I saw online a mechanical engineer did this for his in-ground 8000 gallon pool, and with a few more coils, heated it up in less than 3 days (intermittently) on less than 2 cylinders of propane on a grill.. I don’t own a gas grill, so I got this free 55 gal drum and figure I’ll throw some cheap charcoal in and just keep it going and see what happens. Party is Sat so I have a few days to figure it out... and our pool is only a 1,500 gallon 12 footer.
