Saw this on social media. Thoughts? Personally I’m a little skepticalView attachment 368575.
Great idea if you want no plating on any of the port edges. Dumb shít like that is why i left the saw groups long before throwing fakebook participation in the dumpster completely.

So I moved the old TV stand out to the sunroom, and will repurpose it as a cook stove once I hook it up. View attachment 368566Then I built her a new TV stand out of some cedar I milled a while ago. View attachment 368567now I am slacking, just took care of the goats. Birds In an hour or so. Then back to slacking
It's not everyday you get to repurpose a TV stand as a wood burning cook stove. That takes talent and dedication my friend!!

How do you bevel port edges after a port job and keep the plating on?

Honest question.

You use a diamond ball burr
I might get flamed for this. But personally I really like the Flex-a-hone ball hones. I have been useing them for years.
Ball hones are great for 4-stroke engines…not so good for a cylinder with ports in the walls like a 2-stroke.

I've used them on ATV/ motorcycle cylinders. We would run them at a fairly low RPM in and out once with no lube usually worked well. Never really felt the need on a plated bore but I'm sure it wouldn't tear things up if you're careful.

20 year old or older 46" plasma. Yes, an HP. Pretty fuggin heavy. At least it is a dumb TV, don't want a smart one.
I think they hit the scene ’04-‘05 or so timeframe. If I’m not mistaken, they were the first 1080p tv’s that would accept a true, native 1080p input.

Plasma’s are def heavy and will pump some heat as well…still have a 50” Samsung plasma 1080 in one of my bedrooms that’s never missed a beat, damn good color, and it’s prob 18 or so yrs old.

Only TV we got, unless you count the 30 something inch dumb TV I got in trade for something. Kind of a backup. The antenna on the roof even has a rotator. Lol. No cable or satellite as i refuse to pay for tv. I know, I am a cheap prick. Lol

Probably sitting on top of 9 or 10 unused charcoal grills and 7 new pair of boots.

Marquette just rolled Xavier to win the Big East tournament, and got UConn’s ass to get to this game…they play like this in the March Madness tournament run they’re gonna be hell to stop. Don’t keep up with much college basketball anymore until after the MM tournament starts but these kids have got it together no doubt.

Tune I hadn’t heard in some time was on the radio coming home from doing that alarm stuff at the gals house. I had all of April Wine‘s albums and 8-tracks, only have the albums now. One of the best 70’s rock bands to come out of Canada. Goes a little something like this, off their Harder…Faster album
