Arsehole Derpamax seized the damn fan belt tensioner yesterday...again.
Good thing its got a gear driven water pump.
Geeked out on me and shut down when I pulled over. Guess the clutch wires shorted. I cut the belt out from around the fan shaft, separated the wires, it started back up. Drove it on to the job about 7 miles in heavy traffic. Temp never got over 210. Was pulling a trailer with a 5,000 lb scissor lift. That was pretty impressive.
It was also 80° F here yesterday.

Price is right, buy several and warranty out if broke. 1/2-in-drive-1-1/4-in-impact-socket
The HF close to me has been very good with honoring the warranties on sockets and extensions

Yep I go Harbor Freight on all my impacts. Cheap and there is a store 5 minutes away that swaps them out no questions asked. I go a little nicer on chrome sockets but IDGAF for impacts.

Sunex or Ozat
Both good quality and reasonable.
Armstrong from McMaster-Carr another good option. If your not buying a set. Then get 2 of the size you need for future warranty changeouts so you are not
Thanks for the input guys. It never occurred to me that I should buy a couple of the cheaper brand w/lifetime warranty and swap out if necessary - I’m still money ahead if I go this route. Thank you gentlemen!

...in other words, don't come back from HF with one, come back with ten.

I missed the beginning of this conversation.
Are you talking sockets or impacts?
I've never seen air tools with a lifetime warranty.

My opinion on impacts..IR titanium ftw...
But mine get the shìt kicked out of them daily. And oiled too..

I noticed that and the bump. I thought about posting but thought better of it since I don't have the special badge of protection.

Every thread I go to on there tells me I have insufficient privileges to post.
I signed up there same day as here. Never posted there..
