I don't drink much at all anymore
I've had a quart of the good shine for 5 year's and haven't touched it
But if I have another severe gout attack like 8 year's ago
I'll drink it all then I won't feel any pain.

I do have one more week of vacation than everyone else here though.
Few years back I was off for my normal sit in the bow stand vacation.
One of the service writers texted me (on a wed., I had been off since the last thursday)
Seems Va-Jay-na had a truck that needed lifters since Friday, and was refusing to work on it.

Weather was crap anyway so I climbed out of the tree and went and got the guy back on the road.

Come Monday I sat down with the owner, told him I felt I should be compensated. He asked what, I said 1 more week off.
Took him a day to agree, but I got it.

It was our main lubie and my *dipstick service manager that did it.

Well found my problem with my MS460 not shutting off:

Stripped it down to get where I could Ohm the wiring harness, and as I was loosening/removing the eyelet end of the Yellow wire from the coil, the eyelet fell off.. was able to open the tabs and reuse it, nice and snug, sealed with shrink tubing. Ohm’d it out = all good. Reassembled and test run = switch works as it should. Much better! I was still using this saw for bucking most of my logs and it was getting old flooding it to shut it off.

I’m off the hook - the Mrs just finished up her 4th 12hr shift at the clinic in the last 5 days. She’s whooped. Fell asleep “listening” to me talk about my day lol. Still sleeping on the couch here...

Can’t wait for the hoards of black flies in may, mosquito’s in, June, then deer flies throughout the remaining warm months… smh. Oh yeah also ticks

We also have the biting black flies at one area of the up north property, usually not where we have a camp fire thankfully.
Last year we found a tick nest out back as well, hopefully it was entirely eliminated the first time around, time will tell.
