Things are definitely different than when/where I grew up.
If we had a problem with someone, one of us challenged the other to come back that chitlip up.
We would meet up in a place where there werent many people except us and whoever was friends with either side.
We fought it out bare knuckles til one said "enough" and then we were ok.
Might not have been besties after that, but we respected each other.
Did that with at least one gun close by in the truck or car.
Didnt take those out for things like that. Guns were only for critters and if someone was attacking and your life or your family was in danger.
Used to be a fan of some "knuckle dancing", but wouldnt dare try it now for fear the other dude would pull a gun.
