I haven't had any issues with UPS in years...best bang for the buck out there as far as dependability and delivering goes (notice I didn't say shipping prices) getting packages delivered on time. USPS surprisingly is pretty good at least on my route anyhow. FedEx on the other hand f'ng blows...tracking sux, packages deliveries are shown for a specific date if tracking them, and you'll be lucky to see it another one to two days later, etc. For some reason I always get a 'Delivery Exception; Expect a Delivery Delay' when a FedEx package hits the damn hub in Kennesaw, GA...it never fails. Yet that same package has no problems at all the other stops it makes enroute to me 'til it hits that monkey-*f-wordked hub in Kennessaw.
The way I see it, FedEx/UPS/USPS is.... Dodge/Chevy/Ford.
Some people will swear by one, and not the others. They can all give you problems sooner or later.
I prefer FedEx, just because I had too many problems with the other two carriers.
When I used to have a eBay store, and ship around 100 or more, packages a week, I tried all 3 carriers.
UPS & USPS is a joke to file claims with, and neither of them
ever once paid a claim. I had 4 claims opened with UPS once, for lost packages, they never paid any of them.
Worst one for me was, UPS delivered a $1,500 item, to the wrong address, and the driver did not get a signature like he was supposed to, they never paid one penny on that claim. I refunded the buyer his $1,500, and I had to eat the loss. UPS was just excuse after excuse, and they never paid a penny. I never shipped anything with UPS after that.
Only 3 times in 10 years, did I open a claim with FedEx for lost packages. All 3 times, they paid the claims without any BS to wade through. That's why I like FedEx over the others, when they screwed up, at least they stood behind it, and paid the claim.
