Listened to some *s-wordt this morning when I was getting ready for work that some FedEx contractor driver ('tis the season inserted here), I think in Texas, dropped a package off at at a residence, kidnapped a little girl and not long after, authorities found her dead several miles away. I think the dude confessed to it if I heard the ass end of the newscast correct. FedEx don't give a *f-wordk who they hire as contract drivers (prob minimal screening/background checks at best, if any at all).

...worst f'ng tracking in the industry as far as packages go as well.
His confession should've been grounds for judge, jury and trial to the head right where he stood

Amazon driver took a dump by a neighbors mailbox not long ago. Homeowner was home and made that animal pick it up with his t-shirt and take it with his ass. Amazon did nothing to the driver. Drivers pulling up with music blaring, playing n this and n that and *b-wordes this n that. I called Amazon... nobody cares. I quit using Amazon because they repeatedly delivered my junk to wrong addresses even though my house number is clearly marked on 3 sides of the mailbox. These companies hire anything that will take up space these days.
UPS isnt much better.
Trying to get new covers for a directors chair I'm redoing.
They sent it back as incorrect address.
Address was NOT incorrect.
Driver was mfing lazy, stupid, or both.
We share an inlet for our front driveway with our neighbor.
We both have signs with addresses.
They deliver to the wrong one at least 50% of the time.
Thats just laziness or they didnt bother to look up from their phone long enough to see where they were.

UPS is great for me. I have the regular driver's cell phone number, and he has mine. I've called to let him know I needed a pickup on his day off....he then called the guy who was running the route that day to have him swing by my place.

I guess it all comes down to who is actually working your route.

FedEx was just as good for me at one point. Not any more.

I haven't had any issues with UPS in years...best bang for the buck out there as far as dependability and delivering goes (notice I didn't say shipping prices) getting packages delivered on time. USPS surprisingly is pretty good at least on my route anyhow. FedEx on the other hand f'ng blows...tracking sux, packages deliveries are shown for a specific date if tracking them, and you'll be lucky to see it another one to two days later, etc. For some reason I always get a 'Delivery Exception; Expect a Delivery Delay' when a FedEx package hits the damn hub in Kennesaw, GA...it never fails. Yet that same package has no problems at all the other stops it makes enroute to me 'til it hits that monkey-*f-wordked hub in Kennessaw.

The way I see it, FedEx/UPS/USPS is.... Dodge/Chevy/Ford.

Some people will swear by one, and not the others. They can all give you problems sooner or later.

I prefer FedEx, just because I had too many problems with the other two carriers.

When I used to have a eBay store, and ship around 100 or more, packages a week, I tried all 3 carriers.

UPS & USPS is a joke to file claims with, and neither of them ever once paid a claim. I had 4 claims opened with UPS once, for lost packages, they never paid any of them.

Worst one for me was, UPS delivered a $1,500 item, to the wrong address, and the driver did not get a signature like he was supposed to, they never paid one penny on that claim. I refunded the buyer his $1,500, and I had to eat the loss. UPS was just excuse after excuse, and they never paid a penny. I never shipped anything with UPS after that.

Only 3 times in 10 years, did I open a claim with FedEx for lost packages. All 3 times, they paid the claims without any BS to wade through. That's why I like FedEx over the others, when they screwed up, at least they stood behind it, and paid the claim.

Got the hydraulic cylinder for the Cub yesterday and got it all plumbed. Had to massage the mounting points with an angle grinder to make it fit but it is together and working. Swapped the front turf tires for some snowblower tires too. Hopefully they'll keep the front from sliding out.

It is actually 24 hour time. Hospitals use the 24 hour clock also, so does that also make it hospital time. Who came up with am/pm? Talk about dumb!

The 24-hour clock, is popularly & commonly, referred to as military time, not hospital time.

I asked someone a simple question, I wasn't looking for a history lesson......Thanks.

Brown has been decent here. FedEx is useless. USPS drivers here couldn't get any lazier unless they just stayed home. They'll put packages right under your mailbox, half in the road and continue on. Get out of the mail buggy and put it by the house?.... nah f you and your packages. Ain't got time for that.
