Putting them in that shelter was nothing more than a political stunt to "clean up" the tent city along Ft. Duquesne Blvd but all they really did was move the problem somewhere less visible. Homeless shelters are for people who are down on their luck. These aren't people that aren't down on their luck, these are people that need mental help.

It's awful. I see it all the time. This has become such a complex problem there's no one size fits all recipe to fix it.

I've gotten to know 6 guys on Second Ave and Ft Duquesne personally, they are absolutely down on their luck, 4 are veterans and 2 lost everything they had from life circumstances that went wrong.

I’m not super up to date on American politics, but Ron Desantis impresses me. I would say he should run for pres instead of trump.
