Had to drop by Home Depot on da way home from work and was doing a little loitering and looking on a few aisles. If yer looking for any 6 or 8 ft Werner fiberglass Type I 250lb rated ladders right now might be the time to crank up the sled and take a drive. Werner 6ft fiberglass are $44.88 ea (regular $99.97 ea)…8ft fiberglass are $69.88 ea (regular $155). I believe these are part of their Black Friday deals that are actually running until Nov 30th, so it ain’t like ya gotta jump in the sled tonight and hit it runnin’.

Changed the oil and filter in the F150 today. Been thinking about buying a better set of tires for winter. I've got some all seasons on it that are nice and quiet on the highway in the summer but they suck big balls in the snow. Friggin tire prices are ridiculous though. They don't think anything of asking $1500 bucks for 4 tires.

Snow tires are free, buy a package with steel rims from tire rack.

Why are they free you ask? Because while they are on the vehicle, your regular tires are not wearing. So you get the added life in your tires.

Also, all season tires are lousy all the time. Not really good at anything, but not awful at anything either. So get snow tires, and get good tires for non winter conditions. Then you will always have good tires, instead of sucky all seasons!
