Good morning men, got to play with a saw yesterday, cleaned up a husky 51 I got for free. Got her running real good, going to give it to one of my newer coworkers, as they just bought a house and are pressed for cash. They don't have a saw. Took me the longest to sharpen the chain. Why do people not sharpen their chains?

Bingo! I get asked probably almost weekly to look at some homeowner Harry’s saw. Convo usually goes something like this:

Homeowner Harry: wow your saws are really fast!

Me: yup

HH: mine is really slow. It just all the sudden got slower and slower.

Me: huh

HH: would you mind taking a look:

Me: your blade is dull
