This week I installed about 100 feet of guard rail along this aisle. It lasted approximately 36 hours. The next thing that happens is the mouth breathers operating the PIVs running in and out of here start hitting the bases I anchored to the floor and tearing the *f-word out of them. Yup, xlt 8800gvw. The hd model with the full floating rears. Same rear axle as the 350, but the 350 had the Dana 60 front, and this has the Dana 50 ttb front. He is selling cause he can't find the miss. Plus he needs the car. Broken wire on injector harness for number 1 cylinder. I connected it by hand when he wasn't there and it smoothed right out. Will need to splice in a new plug as the wire is broken right at the connector.

Seems to be a common thing. Needs a windshield too, and the seats are pretty worn mechanically. Will do what needs doing. I always wanted a 250 5 speed with the big 8.

Yesterday was my last game of club football. Had a grand plan too. Gather the lads at the end, let them know that's it (I'm 50, I ache for days after games and it's clashing with the kids game times) and then have a beer.
Except....with 20 minutes to go one of the opposition went down with a broken ankle, foot pointing the wrong way broken, and the game had to be called off early.
Me and some of his team mates stayed with him for the hour that the ambulance took to arrive then I went and got showered and changed.
Weird day.

Sucks for the guy that got hurt, but it seems to have reinforced your decision to hang up the cleats. Glad you came out healthy. I use to play too. Gave it up similarly. Haven't missed it. As you say, you have other things to, easier on the body to watch the kids.

I'm not out of the woods yet, still have two Masters age group tournaments to get through with other teams later in the year but this is the first step.
